Hold em Poker – Net Type Card Rooms In Real World Gambling Halls – Like Betting onTexas Holdem on the Internet

Have you observed the new PokerPro texas hold’em poker tables? The very first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about 2 weeks back when I took a brief trip with my wife to the WinStar Gambling den in Oklahoma.

As I anxiously waited for my turn to be acknowledged at the live tables, I watched how the other folks around the PokerPro tables interacted with each other. It was fairly interesting to say the very least. Because the poker table was controlled by a computer, there had been no clay poker chips to do any chip tips, no cards to shuffle and the real live experience was stale. Perhaps I was the only one that recognized this, but I did notice the gamblers at the table had a lifeless high quality to them. The cause of this may possibly be because there was no human discussion with the dealer, the environment was rather dull and the players looked uninterested. It was nearly as if I was viewing a live version of an internet based hold’em poker room rather than being seated with warm blooded humans. It was a tiny bit freaky and I kept flashing back to an episode of Star trek and the holodeck malfunctioned.

Since the waiting time for the live tables was over an hour, I decided to observe how the casino game action was and to experience this new texas hold’em poker gaming technologies. Following playing a few hands, I genuinely felt like I was playing at residence. The lack of activity at the table was the primary reason. I prefer to stack and shuffle my chips, and mix my cards about. None of those things are feasible at these electronic tables.

Another thing I noticed was how the program dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I played a great deal of hands at the PokerPro table and noticed that the bet on was a whole lot like an internet holdem poker site. That might have been just a coincidence, except I discovered it to become extremely odd.

Right after wagering a few rounds with this "unique hold em poker technology", I determined that the PokerPro tables were not for me. I’m much better off wagering texas hold’em poker on the internet at house and not travel the distance. If WinStar Casino were to receive rid of the live poker tables, I think they’d loose a lot of players.
