Caribbean Poker Codes and Tips

Online poker has become globally famous recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years many variants on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the casino instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little concealment or different types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up prior to the dealer announcing "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course all of the other gamblers attain 5 cards. After you have seen your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you need to either make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s amount is equal to your beginning bet, which means that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your bet goes instantly to the casino. After the wager is the face off. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, plus a figure on par with the initial bet. If the house has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand defeats the dealer’s hand. The bank pays out cash equal to your initial bet and set odds on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
