Internet poker has become globally celebrated recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years several types on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the gamblers wager against the casino rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little bluffing or other types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the croupier saying "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course all of the other players acquire five cards. After you have seen your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you must either make a call wager or give up. The call wager’s amount is akin to your original ante, which means that the risks will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your ante goes directly to the casino. After the wager is the conclusion. If the house does not have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, plus a sum in accordance with the initial wager. If the dealer does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The dealer pays money even with your bet and set odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
