Caribbean Poker Codes and Tips

Poker has become globally acclaimed lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years numerous variations on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to blackjack than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the dealer instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or different types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up just before the dealer announcing "No more bets." At that point, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different gamblers are given 5 cards each. After you have looked at your hand and the casino’s first card, you have to in turn make a call wager or bow out. The call bet’s value is equal to your beginning wager, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Surrendering means that your wager goes directly to the casino. After the wager is the showdown. If the casino does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, including a sum equal to the initial wager. If the house does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The dealer pony’s up chips equal to your bet and set odds on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
