Online poker has become globally celebrated recently, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years several variants on the original poker game have been developed, including some games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling chemin de fer than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is little bluffing or other kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the dealer broadcasting "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other gamblers acquire 5 cards. After you have looked at your hand and the casino’s first card, you have to in turn make a call wager or surrender. The call bet’s amount is akin to your original ante, which means that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your bet goes instantaneously to the house. After the wager is the face off. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, plus an amount on par with the original bet. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The house pays out money even with your wager and fixed odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
