Internet poker has become globally famous as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years several types on the original poker game have been developed, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with twenty-one than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is little bluffing or different kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the croupier declares "No further bets." At that point, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the other players attain five cards. Once you have observed your hand and the dealer’s first card, you must either make a call bet or give up. The call bet’s amount is akin to your original bet, which means that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your ante goes instantaneously to the casino. After the wager is the conclusion. If the casino does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, with a figure on par with the ante. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The casino pays cash even with your wager and set odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
